What AB 1832 will do: Signing AB 1832 will create a state 211 fund and mechanism for distribution that will be a significant step toward to ensuring statewide access and coverage to 211 service.

California 211s serve as a crucial lifeline, receiving millions of requests for information and referrals each year, yet the state of California does not provide financial support for 211 providers to ensure a consistent statewide 211 system, and 15 rural counties representing over 722,000 Californians have limited or no 211 service. We can change that!
