1. Ensure all Programs support our Mission and Consistently Meet the Needs of our Community and Clients
  • Provide our community and clients with programs that improve their lives and focus on our key areas: education, financial stability, health, and housing within the Inland Empire
  • Ensure programs have proper staffing to meet and exceed contract expectations, billing and outcomes
  • Center Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging into the community impact work we do with our community
  • Explore shared service community impact with neighboring non-merged United Ways
2. Enhance Human Resources and Operations to Ensure Client and Employee Service Excellence Staff
  • Increase Employee Engagement and become the Employer of Choice in the Inland Empire
  • Ensure stability and continuity of Leadership
  • Improve onboarding of staff and strive for continuous improvement
  • Increase diversity of staff members to include lived experiences
3. Develop Messaging and Marketing that will Educate, Enlighten, Energize, and Activate our Clients and Partners
  • Increase awareness and visibility of ISCUW to various stakeholders including clients, supporters, funders, elected and community officials, colleagues, sister organizations, and media.
4. Increase Revenue as a Tool to Better Serve Our Community
  • Ensure diversification of revenue streams to guarantee sustainability and increase funds for grantmaking
  • Enhance individual charitable giving to increase revenue and commitment of the community
  • Improve communications with stakeholders and funders
  • Create an advancement services department to track and utilize data on funders and donors
5. Make Technology and Finance a Competitive Advantage for ISCUW
  • Optimize finance execution leveraging technology and process improvement
  • Leverage technology to continue to improve 211 operations, program delivery and enhance ISCUW's value proposition
  • Improve grant and program portfolio management
  • Enhance reporting and tracking tools to provide insight on goal progress
6. Create a Board Culture that Retain and Recruits Extraordinary Board Members
  • Enhance Board effectiveness in governance
  • Increase Board engagement
  • Improve Board Management processes
  • Improve Board Communications
  • Promote the recruitment, development and advancement of underrepresented groups in the organization
